She is survived by a nephew, Robert Shires and his wife, Susan; a niece, Suzanne Shires; a sister-in-law, Virginia Shires; one great-niece and two great-nephews. Also surviving is a very devoted cousin, Donna S. Waller and her husband, William; and very devoted friends, Melvin and Joan Rawls, all of Richmond.
