Dorothy was born on Oct. 20, 1927, in Milburn, Oklahoma, to Johnnie Deaton and Ladye Earhart Deaton. She attended Milburn Schools and later Murray State College in Tishomingo. She married Reginal Denny Estes on Oct. 20, 1943, in Fox, Oklahoma. They moved to Johnston County that same year. Mrs. Estes assisted her husband in several family businesses including a locker plant, grocery store and insurance agency, but spent most of her time as a homemaker. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Sept. 22, 1992, and her sister, Margaret Lou Deaton.
Mrs. Estes is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Ralph Gibbs of Madill, Oklahoma and Becky and G.C. Willis of Ardmore; three grandchildren, Greg Willis, Reggie Willis and Ryan Gibbs; also four great-grandchildren, Christi, Shawna, Garrett and Rylee Willis.
Pallbearers for the service will be grandsons and other family members.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Service of Tishomingo.
