ORWELL-Edith I. Burlinski, age 81, of Orwell, Ohio, died early Monday morning, January 23, 2006, at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital.
She was born February 26, 1924 in Windsor, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde and Nellie (Loomis) Rodgers.
Edith was a lifelong member of the Windsor and Orwell United Methodist Churches and the Ladies Auxilliary of American Legion Post #719, enjoyed dancing, her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.
Edith is survived by children, Darlene (David) Hartz of Orwell, Dennis (Vickie) Burlinski of Geneva, Donald (Donna) Burlinski of Orwell, Michael (Debbie) Burlinski of Clover, South Carolina, and Carey (Doreen) Burlinski of Chesterland; sister, Dorothy Dvorak of Windsor; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Midge" Burlinski on October 28, 1980; brothers, Fred, George, Arthur, Kenneth, and Elmo Rodgers; and sisters, Ethelyn Dyke, Allene Cover, and Emily Rodgers.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at the Paine-Guerriero Funeral Home, 140 East Main Street, Orwell, Ohio, with Pastor James Stanley, of the Orwell United Methodist Church, as celebrant. Internment will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday evening, January 24, 2006, at the Funeral Home.
