Per Chrisman family researcher Vicky Linke, there is an Indiana marriage record for John M Chrisman to Eliza Hansel in Franklin County, Indiana on 13 Feb 1840. More research is needed to determine if Eliza Cole was previously married to a Hansel or if Hansel was actually her maiden name.
