Son of John M & Eliza (Hansel) Chrisman. He married Sophia Sell in 1874. They had son Charles. After her death, he married Minnie Hugo on March 31,1881, daughter of Henry & Elizabeth [Clemens] Hugo. They had son Henry and daughters Eliza and Ella.
