WALHALLA, SC- Wanda Delene Winchester Alexander, 55, beloved wife of James Floyd Alexander of 853 Pickett Post Road, Walhalla, SC, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Oconee Medical Center.

A native of Walhalla, SC, Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Donnie Davis Winchester. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Church of God.

In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Alexander is survived by daughter, Julie Kelley Bellotte and husband Rev. Bryan of Seneca, SC; brothers, Robert (Bob) Winchester and Bill Winchester, both of Walhalla, SC and Danny Winchester of Six Mile, SC; and grandchildren, Sam, Kelley, Carson and Luke Bellotte. She was a very special "Mimi" to her grandchildren who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alexander was predeceased by daughter, Beverly Kay Kelley; brother, Dennis Winchester; and sister, Della (Dellie) Grace Winchester.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from the Chapel of Davenport Funeral Home, Walhalla, SC with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2009 at the funeral home.
