TIGNALL, Ga. - Mrs. Julia Mae Youngblood Jordan, 86, of Independence Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Wilkes Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mallorysville Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jordan, a native of Gwinnett County, had retired from Royal Manufacturing Co. and Almar Manufacturing Co., Washington. She was a member of Mallorysville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Jordan; a daughter, Sybil Ashmore, Tignall; two brothers, Virgil Youngblood, Silver Springs, Fla., and Robert Youngblood, Winterville; two sisters, Velma Williamson and Vivian Bingham, both of Commerce; and three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to: Mallorysville Baptist Church, c/o Debbie Burton, 1739 Boyd Road, Tignall, GA 30668.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hopkins Funeral Home, Washington.
