Mrs. Lorene Greves, 45, of 803 Ash St., Fairbury, NE died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1966 in a Omaha Hospital. She had been an invalid for a number of years.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn; mother, Mrs. Emma Huss Ridder of Hebron; brother, Norbert Bauer of Fairbury and sister, Mrs. Verneda Schidler of Lincoln.

Funeral services will be at 2 Saturday afternoon in the Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor M. Matuschka, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Nuckolls-Meyer Services.

Mrs. Lorene Greves of Fairbury, NE passed away Jan. 27, 1966 in an Omaha Hospital at the age of 45 years, 11 months and 23 days.

Lorene Marie Wilhelmina Bauer was born Feb. 4, 1920 at Fairbury, NE the daughter of Carl H. Bauer and Emma Huss Bauer. Her father was one of the Charter Members of Grace Lutheran Church here.

She was baptized in Trinity Lutheran Church near Gladstone. Later when her family moved into Fairbury she was confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church by Pastor Oscar Decker on March 25, 1934.

She was married to Glenn Greves. There were no children.

On Dec. 24, 1943, she sustained a serious injury in a car accident and had been an invalid since. For the past 16 years she made her home with Dorothy Haines at 830 Ash St., where she received splendid care. She was hospitalized a number of times. About six weeks age she entered a local hospital and then entered and Omaha hospital.

Preceding her in death were her father; twin brothers who had die in infancy and another brother who died in childhood.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Emma Ridder of Hebron; husband Glenn Greves; brother, Norbert Bauer of Fairbury; sister, Mrs. Verneda Schidler of Lincoln and sister-in-law, Mrs. Nora Bloyd of Fairbury; nieces and nephews, Judy Specht of Fairbury, Linda Schidler of Lincoln, Larry Boyd of Lincoln, Charles Boyd of Chicago, ILL, Mike Schidler of Lincoln, and Charles Bauer of Fairbury.

Funeral services were Saturday afternoon in the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. M. Matuschka, officiating.

Mrs. Darrell Junker was the soloist and organist.

Pallbearers were Fred Huss Jr., Don Cerveny, Joe Cerveny, Dale Bauer, Wayne Bauer, and Blaine Huss. Interment in the Fairbury Cemetery.
