Services for Mrs. Lula Maude Mecham, 80, of 1212 S. Elizabeth, who died Friday, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at. Culbertson Mortuary. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Born Dec. 12, 1884, at Elmo, Mo., Mrs. Mecham had lived in Wichita since 1921.
Survivors include eight daughters, Miss Betty Nickerson, of the home, Mrs. Charlie Carr, Bauthat, Okla., Mrs. Leonard; Rhoades, and Mrs. Wayne Turner, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Floyd McKee, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. William Payne, 1202 S. Elizabeth, Mrs. Walter Payne, 1218 S. Elizabeth, and Mrs. Elmer Pedigo, 2602 N. Waco; three sons, Kenneth, Portland, Ore., James, Phoenix, Ariz., and Bill, 2018 Jackson; 53 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.
