Mrs. Joseph (Amanda) Berkley, 97, of the Luther Manor Nursing Home, formerly of 1200 Main St., will be at 10am Saturday at the Egelhof-Casper-Streuber Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St.
Burial will be in East Dubuque (ILL) Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 10am Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Berkley worked at Lady of Lourdes Rest Home until retiring.
She was born June 4, 1891, in Galena, Ill, daughter of Karl {sic Charles} and Maria (Kern) Heller. She died Thursday, April 6, 1898, at Luther Manor Nursing Home.
Her husband Joseph died in 1949 {sic 1942}.
She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet.
Memorials may be given to Luther Manor Nursing Home.
