He was born in Greene County Indiana. His parents were Joseph Andrew Hendricks and Edith Catherine Abrams Hendricks. He was a retired Quarry worker and a member of the Chuch of Christ on Indiana Avenue.
His wife Maude Hamm Hendricks survived him, four daugters - Louise, Pauline, Mildred and Mary, two brothers - Harris and Raymond Hendricks, four sisters - Retha, Bonnie, Velma and Cleon, and grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the church with burial following in Vahalla. "Bob" Duncan officiated.
