Velma died at 6:26 a.m. Saturday at Bloomington Hospital.
She was a native of Greene County and was the daughter of Joseph Andrew and Edith C. (Abrams) Hendricks.
She was a member of Richland Church of Christ.
She was survived by her husband Charles, five daughters and eight sons, 38 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
They were married in 1919 and raised the "Lucky Thirteen" children.
