Graveside services were held at 2p.m. Thursday in Maplewood Cemetery, St. Elmo. Britlinger's Funeral Home, Decatur, was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Markwell was born in Altamont, daughter of Samuel and Viola markwell. She was a menber of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Decatur, Il.
Surviving are her brother, Grover of San Diego, Ca.; and a sister, Mrs. Maurice (Goldie) Tolly of Decatur.
