"ISAAC SHAMBAUGH DIED AFTER LONG SICKNESS - Isaac Shambaugh, for a number of years a resident of Titusville, died at 9:15 o'clock last evening at his home, 312 East Mt Vernon street, aged 75 years. He had been in failing health for several years and confined to the bed for the past five weeks. Mr Shambaugh was born at Magnolia, W Va, on August 22, 1849. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Minnie Shambaugh of this city, three sons, Ellsworth and Lewis Shambaugh of this city and Melvin Shambaugh of Corry, and four grandchildren, Carlos, Theodore, Paul and Robert, the two latter, twins. Three children have passed away, Mrs Charles Thompson, who died on October 8, 1918, the first victim of the influenza epidemic in Titusville; Frank Shambaugh, who was killed in action in France on October 4, 1918, and Maurice Shambaugh, who was killed by a train at Petroleum Center on October 15 last. Arrangements for the funeral will be made later."

"Services in memory of Isaac Shambaugh will be conducted this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the family residence, East Mt Vernon street, Rev J A Galbraith, DD, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. The interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery."
