Pauline I. Ream, 86, of Millheim and Salem Hill Haven, formerly of Aaronsburg, died Friday, Sept, 1, 2006, at Brookline at Fairways, State College. Born May 24, 1920, in Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Bessie Rishel Hosterman. Her adolescent years were spent with Charles and Lena Smith. On Nov. 29, 1941, in Aaronsburg, she married Malvin P. Ream, who died April 5, 2002. Pauline graduated from East Penn High School, Millheim, in 1939, and worked for Valley Manufacturing in Millheim. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and Women's Guild of the church. She helped serve luncheons at the church and supervised the potato donut sales. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cookies, gardening, bowling and reading. She is survived by three daughters, Bonita and her husband, Stan Debrasky, of Aaronsburg, Brenda and her husband, Jim Stover, of Aaronsburg and Beth Ann and her husband, Richard Pryor, or Smithsburg, Md.; two sons, Ronald and his wife, Candy Ream, of Aaronsburg and Randy and his wife, Becky Ream, of Gainesville, Md.; two sisters, Doris Hartman, of Aaronsburg and Jean Frankenberger, of Millheim; nine grandchildren, Joey Lewis, Kelly Kerstetter, Heather Guisewite, Philip and Alan Debrasky, Kylie and Patrick Ream, and Eric and Adam Stover; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her twins, Karen and Keith. Visitation will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, 2006, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Aaronsburg. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, at the church, with the Rev. Faith McCausland officiating. Burial will be at Reformed Cemetery, Aaronsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 323 W. Aaron Square, Aaronsburg, PA 16820.
