DIED NEAR BARRY.
Wife of Well Known Farmer Passed Away Saturday Night.
Mrs. Mattie Jones, wife of J. A. Jones, for many years a resident of the Barry community, died at the family home near Barry Saturday night after only a few hours illness, and the remains were interred in the neighborhood cemetery yesterday afternoon.
Surviving the deceased are her husband and two children, Mrs. L. B. Watson and Miss Pearl Jones. The deceased was the aunt of Messrs. Wiley and Stanley Burdine of Corsicana, and they and their wives and Mrs. Joe Barnes and daughter, Miss Lucy, attended the funeral from here.
