Mrs. Cartmill died Jan. 20, 1988 in Roy, Utah. She had moved there from Casa Grande about one week ago. Mrs. Cartmill lived in Casa Grande since 1937, when she came from Arkansas.
She was born Sept. 13, 1909 in Nevada County, Ark. and taught school there. After moving to Casa Grande, she joined the Calvary Baptist Church and the Casa Grande Woman's Club.
She is survived by two daughters: Elzada Darter, of Scottsdale, and Betty Jo Walker, of Roy; two brothers: Howard Barksdale, of Bishop, TX and James Barksdale, of Curtis Junction, AR; four sisters: Goldie Meador, of Bluff City, AR, Brodie Griffith, of Arkadelphia, AR, Murlee Tunnell, of Little Rock, AR, and Agnes Stone, of Whelen Springs, AR; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial is planned in the Aultorest Memorial Park in Ogden.
