James Aldin Lee, age 80, died March 19, 1999 at his home in Roswell, New Mexico. Services were held March 22, 1999 at the LaGrone Funeral Chapel, officiated by Elvis Lee and assisted by Chris Bertola. Burial followed in the South Park Cemetery in Roswell.

Mr. Lee was born September 3, 1918 in Mitchell County to Jim and Myrtle Lee. He was married to Earlene Gwinn on November 4, 1942 in San Diego, California. He was a member of the West Country Club Church of Christ in
Roswell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kelly Raymond Lee; one brother, Olan Lee; four sisters, Gertha Davidson, Lynette Lee, Ina Bess Compton, and Ruth Turnbow.

Survivors include his wife, Earlene of Roswell; three daughters, Bobbie Nichols of El Dorado, AR, Joy Mullins of Santa Fe, NM, and Becky Cunningham of Carlsbad, NM; two sons, James Aldin Lee, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA and Zane Lee of Lake Jackson, Texas; two brothers, Raymond Lee of Fairview, Oklahoma and Elvis Lee of Nashville, Arkansas; one sister, Modelle Brookshire of Brownsboro, Texas; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
