Funeral services for Mrs. Emma M. Dark, 88, were to be held at 2:30pm today (Tuesday March 4, 1947) in the Walnut Grove church, with burial in the near by cemetery. Mrs. Dark died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Driggers, on the Chandler highway.

T.B. Thompson, minister of the West Erwin Church of Christ, will officiate at the last rites.

Mrs. Dark is survived by 155 direct descendants. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Ada Cates of Tyler, Mrs. Lizzie Bunch and Mrs. Sallie Bunch, both of Coolidge and Mrs. Driggers; three sons, David Dark of Tyler, Archie Dark of Teague and Nathan Dark of Port Arthur; and one step-daughter Mrs. Linnie Veach of Dallas; 55 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren and 11 great step-grandchildren.
