In 1910 she lived with her parents, two brothers, and her sister on a farm in Toby Township, Clarion County, PA. They owned their home, mortgage free.

In 1920 she and her parents and her brother Paul and sister June lived in Toby Township, probably on the same farm.

In 1930 she lived with her parents, sister June, daughter Fay, age six, and son Robert, age one, in a house on Colerain Street in Sligo, PA. They owned their home, which was valued at $3000, and they had a radio. Her father was a laborer, doing odd jobs.

In 1940 she lived at the Warren State Hospital in Warren, PA. She worked as a Ward Attendant, and in 1939 had an income of $420 for 52 weeks of work. (She must have also received room and board.) Her two children lived with her mother in a house on Colerain Street in Sligo, PA, where they had lived since at least 1935. It was valued at $1500.

In 1950 she and her second husband and their daughter lived in a house on the south side of Bald Eagle Street in Sligo, PA. He worked as a butcher at a wholesale meat company.
