FAYE D. SLATER, 87, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010. She was long time resident of Grove City. Faye was a graduate of Franklin Commercial College, retired from South-Western City Schools and a member of Grove City Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Slater, grandson Gary Parrett, sister, Janey Lally and other brothers and sister. She is survived by son, Robert (Jackie) Slater; daughters, Christina (Bob) Brinkman and Beth (Rex) Kenyon; grandchildren Amanda and Jared Slater, Jessica (Brendan) Kenyon-Brinkman; brother, Robert Randolph and step-sister, Alma Drennen. Friends may visit on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 1-3 PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus St. Grove City, where funeral service will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Wayne Stuntz officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
