Bessie Irene, 84, was born in Enid, OK to Alvin and Xina Wagner. She moved to OKC and graduated from Capitol Hill H.S. in 1937. She later married Raymond L. Pate. A marriage that would last 65 years.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; 2 children, a daughter, Donna Boyers and her husband Jim, a son, Raymond Pate, Jr. and his wife Kathleen. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Bessie attended the Fairview congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was dedicated and baptized in 1971 and served her God faithfully until her death.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
