Bienvenue TRAHAN was a son of Oscar TRAHAN and his wife, Virginie PREJEAN.

Paternal grandparents were Theoville "Theovide" TRAHAN and Anna WEISS/WISE.

Maternal grandparents were Paul Lucius PREJEAN and Marie Alicia BERNARD.

Paternal great grandparents were Delphin Stinville "Stanville" TRAHAN and Marie Cidalise TRAHAN.

VINTON-Bienvenue Trahan, 97, died at 9:05 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, in a Lake Charles care center.
He had lived in the Vinton for 60 years and attended St Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and the Houston Astros.
He is survived by his son Benford Trahan and his wife Merlene of Vinton, his sister Dora Rue of Crowley, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Trahan in 1993.
His funeral will be 10 a.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton. Father Susil Fernando will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Scott. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
