Walter Orson Stone, a resident of Klamath Falls for the past 10 years, passed away in this city on Thursday, March 6, 1947 at 9:20 p.m. He was a native of Medina county, Ohio and was aged 72 years 10 months and 3 days at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Dora, Klamath Falls; five daughters, Sybil Fowler of Ford, Kan., Bee Book, Karmyl Smith, Lois Stone and Elva McGuire, all of Klamath Falls; three sons, Clifford, Floyd and Delmar Stone, all of Klamath Falls; two sisters, Pearl Stone of Berkeley, Calif., and Lillian Hubbard of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Roy Stone of Willard, Ohio and Clarence Stone of Pittsburgh, Penn. The body is at Ward's Klamath Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
