Anna Becker

Sutton - Mrs. Anna Margaret Becker, daughter of Gottof (sic) J. and Louise Ulmer, was born April 16, 1924, at Sutton (sic), Nebraska.

She was married to Paul D. Becker on August 15, 1946 at Concordia, Kansas. To this union was born 3 daughters, Rita Beth,Janis Lynn and Diane Kay.

They moved to Hastings from Harvard in 1974. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Christ in Hastings. The GK Chapter of PEA and the Glendall Club of Harvard.

Mrs. Becker passed away on February 18, 1977, at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings at the age of 52 years.

She is survived by her husband, Paul D; two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Rita Beth) Moya, Encino, California and Miss Janis Lynn Becker at the University in Lincoln, also her mother, Mrs. Louise Ulmer of Sutton; six sisters, Mrs. Roland Chadwick, Aurora, Colorado; Mrs. Roy Willis, Houston, Texas; Mrs. George Schaffer, Jr., Chandler, Arizona; Mrs. Doris Smith, Fr. (sic) Worth, Texas; Mrs. Don Huffman, Pierce, Nebraska; Mrs. Jeanette Rose, Omaha, Nebraska; five brothers, Ruben Ulmer, Hastings, Nebraska; Friedhold Ulmer, Sutton, Nebraska; Milton Ulmer, Northridge, California; Herbert Ulmer, Sutton, Nebraska and Robert Ulmer, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Kay and a brother, Ben.

Services were held on Monday, February 21, 1977, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ with burial at 2:00 p.m. in the Sutton Cemetery at Sutton.

Memorials may be given to the First Congregational United Church of Christ Building Fund or the Cancer Fund.
