Mrs. Berger, was the wife of Gottlieb Berger.
She was born September 27, 1863 in Leicestershire, England, a daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Jordan Arnold. She came across the plains with her parents at the age of 5, settling in Utah and marrying Mr. Berger in 1880 in the old endowment house in Salt Lake City.
Surviving are her husband; ten children were born to the couple, five of whom survive her; three sons, G.R. Berger, mayor of Murray; Gottfred and Everett Berger, also of Murray; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Lillie) Baker & Mrs. Joseph (Merelda) Johnson, Murray; two sisters, Mrs. Maud Widerburg of Holladay and Mrs. Bertha Turnbow of Murray; and a brother, Bert Arnold of Salt Lake City.
