Final rites for Melvin Arnold, 54, of Murray, who died in a local hospital Thursday will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at 4760 South State Street. Burial will be in Murray Cemetery.
Born in Salt Lake, July 27, 1884, Mr. Arnold was a son of Richard and Sarah Pead Arnold, and had lived there most of his life. He had been employed by the American Smelting and Refining company for the past 32 years.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Albertine Arnold; a son, Melvin Arnold, Jr., of Murray; a brother, Bert Arnold of Salt Lake, and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Widerburg and Mrs. Bertha Turnbow, Salt Lake City.
