She was survived by her husband John; father Max Garcia; son Earl; daughter Janette Apodaca; 2 brothers: Joe Garcia of Albuquerque and James Garcia of Colorado; 2 sisters: Jean Maez and maxine Saavedra of Albuquerque; 2 grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral services were on 6 Apr 1999 in Velarde. Burial was in the Velarde Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Anthony Maez, Michael Saavedra, Christopher Saavedra, Leon Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Dave Dixon, Scott Weeks, and bobby Quintana.
