1st Tenn Infantry Co H∼Lincoln County News, May 19, 1927. Ambrose Bennett. Mr. Ambrose Bennett, aged 91 years, died on Saturday, May 14, at his home near Flintville. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, and one of the most highly respected men of his community. Mr. Bennett was a Confederate soldier. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Counts. Burial at Gum Springs Cemetery. He is survived by three sons and three daughters. Contributed by Peggy D. Swift.
