She was born June 26, 1942 in Bloomington, the daughter of Joseph Fifer and Margaret Leitch Bohrer. She married Jerry P. Norton on June 4, 1966 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death. Her parents and a sister, Anny Bohrer Tyson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Wayne Norton and a daughter-in-law, Miwako Kobayashi Norton.
