Services for Ann B. Tyson, 67, of Galena, will be held at 11 a.m., March 19, 2011, at Cedar Ridge Baptist Church in Galena. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South of Kimberling City.

She died March 1, 2011, at St. John's Regional Hospital in Springfield.

The daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Leitch) Bohrer, she was born June 22, 1943, in Kewanee, Ill. Ann was united in marriage to Lyle Tyson on Dec. 12, 1975, and they had made their home in the Missouri area the past 20 years, coming from central Illinois.

She grew up in Bloomington, Ill., and attended Bloomington High School. Ann graduated from Lincoln College in Lincoln, Ill.

She retired from Geotechnical Engineering Services in Kappa, Ill., as an executive assistant.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her children, Kent (Vicki) Tyson, Keith Tyson, Todd (Debbie) Tyson, Tracey Tyson and Tyler (Joyce) Tyson; sisters, Judy Norton and Ruthann Mabry; brothers, Dick Graham and Don Graham; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ann will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
