"Mrs. Elizabeth Bollinger
Mrs. Elizabeth Bollinger, widow of Benjamin Bollinger, died at her residence, in Clay township, at the road leading from Lincoln to Brunnerville, about two miles from the former place, on Sunday morning at 9 o'clock, from apoplexy. She was confined to her bed only a few days. On February 16, 1907, she would have been 99 years old. Mrs. Bollinger had well-preserved faculties for her age. Her maiden name was Herchelroth. She resided in the vicinity of the home where she died all her lifetime. Her husband died about seven years ago. She is not survived by any brothers or sisters, but by the following children: Abraham, of Rothsville; Barbara, widow of Hiram Bollinger, of Weidmanville; Benjamin, of Lincoln; Matilda, wife of Reuben Widder, of Millway; Amanda, widow of Hon. John Kemper, and Lizzie, residing at home. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren. The funeral was held on Wednesday. Interment was made in the Middle Creek cemetery."
Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry and Barbara Young Herchelroth.
