The Ephrata Review (Ephrata, Pa.), Friday, October 10, 1902, p. 1, col. 6:
"Michael Bollinger, of Middle Creek
Michael Bollinger, a well known resident of Ephrata township, departed this life at his home in Meadow Valley about two and one-half miles west of Ephrata, on Wednesday evening, aged 65 years, 5 months and 25 days.Death resulted from a complication of diseases. The deceased leaves his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Adam Burkholder, residing near Lincoln, and Emma, at home. The mother of the deceased and the following brothers and sisters of the deceased survive: Benjamin B., of near Lincoln; Abraham of Rothsville; Mrs. Barbara Bollinger, of Weidmanville; Lizzie, who had her home with the deceased; a Mrs. Kemper, of Akron and Mrs. Reuben Widders, of Millway. The funeral will take place on tomorrow, Saturday, from the home of the deceased, at 9 a.m. with services at the Middle Creek German Baptist Meeting house with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Mr. Gibble and others will officiate.
