The Oneonta Star, Fri. February 28, 1969

Richfield Springs - Mrs. Adina Miller, 80, of Richfield Springs RDI, a native of Germany, died Wednesday, February 26, at the Little Falls Hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday, March 1, at the First Presbyterian Church, Richfield Springs, with the Rev. C. Frederic Frasier of Cooperstown, retired pastor, officiating. Burial will be later in Springfield Center Cemetery.

She was born on August 10, 1886 in Sulz, Germany, a daughter of Johannes and Anna Maria ( Dengler )Worner. She came to the United States in 1900. She was married to Jacob Miller on June 21, 1915 in Little Falls.
From 1921 to 1953 Mr. Miller operated a farm near Warren when the couple moved to their present home near Brighton.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Philathea Union of the Church.

Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Leslie) Stone, San Pedro, Calif; Mrs. David (Adina) Gill, Fullerton, Calif; Mrs. Ralph (Myrtle) Van Schaick, Brighton; Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Chapman, Hastings, NY; six sons Jack, Los Angeles; John, Aurora, Ill.; William, Mowhak; Edward, Windsor, Calif; Martin, Herkimer; Paul, Cherry Valley; 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at the McGrath Funeral Home.
