I can't write Thank you enough nor express what it means to me, to all the fellow gravers who take the time to photograph and post.
Thank you to all fellow gravers for your time and effort!
A BIG thank you to the following fellow gravers. They have been polite, helpful, and courteous. The old Southern saying is true, and they have spewed more Honey than Vinegar. For this, I thank them publicly... Carolyn #10411580; Tracy #47234326; Lin #46798906; Dona #47166914 Bonnie #46780698
I've had some fellow gravers deny transfers based on the Find a Grave guidelines. That's fine for them, however, I've decided for myself, that I'm not a Find a Grave or geneaology snob. Nor am I a collector of memorials. Who better to manage a memorial than family? If you are family, ask for a transfer and ye shall receive.
Click on any of the photos I have posted for any additional information I found. Additionally you may use my photos for your own genealogy purposes. If you feel inclined to credit me, just note; Barb: Find A Grave member # 47786265 Thx :--)
P.S... DON'T post photos to memorials that someone else has already claimed. It is discourteous and not in the Find a Grave spirit of being a photo volunteer. The act of claiming a memorial indicates to all, you are taking the time to go and photograph it. I will report you to Find a Grave hierarchy, and soon enough you will get your come-upings!
P.S.... # 2 If you don't want to transfer a memorial to me, then don't. I don't need to read all the reasons why you wont. Just don't.

 | RE: Baby Kern photo Barb,
No problem. I was glad to help. I also tried to take the photos for Francis and Mary Kern but at the moment it appears that their headstones are overgrown so I will ask the cemetery people to see what they can do about that.

 | Re: Annie Richardson Thanks for the information, I found a lot of errors on that memorial. I would like your response to this: I find in Washington State Death Certificates 1907-1960, Annie Richardson, d. 9 Oct 1908, Walla Walla, Walla Walla, Washington, age. 46 years 10 months, 21 days, Birth year. 1862, Father's name. Petrane. Then in the Oregon State Archives, Name: Richardson, Anna, d. 10/9/1908, Record Type: Portland Deaths, Source: City of Portland, Identifier: Vol 7, Remarks: died WA. Sounds like she died in Washington, what do you think?
Thanks for your help, BonnieAdded by Bonnie on May 12, 2013 9:07 PM | | | Gordon S.
