Bio and Links
Bio Photo I find this website most useful and hope that entries I have made will be helpful to someone researching family.
If you happen to see an error, please be sure to inform me and I will be only too happy to make changes. Also, if you see a member of your family and wish for me to transfer them to you, I will do so, gladly.

This website has allowed me to make many new relationships, one of which is my "photographer" (WD) who makes lots of trips to his local cemeteries for me. I am most grateful.
WD, Janice Cathcart and I have teamed together to document as many Tattnall County cemteries as possible. Working with these two make this a relaxing pastime.

Hello, Dottie. I see that you were the original contributor of this memorial and later transferred it to Mr. Nobles. I assume he's the one who has listed the wrong obituary to it. You might want to contact him about this. I sent him a message, as well as placed a note in the flower section in hopes others might see it and NOT use this incorrect information. Thanks!

RE: Potnick photos
My pleasure. In case you want to add the plot location for the Potnick memorials, they are located in Section VIII Nebo, Estate 1552, space 1.

re:Hazel/Hazlehurst
You are right. I worked there back in the late 70's and I had to pass the Town sign everyday and it was spelled Hazelhurst. But I looked on the current road atlas and it is now spelled Hazlehurst. I don't know if the city changed the spelling or the sign was mis-spelled. Haven't been back there since 1978. Thanks for the heads-up, I removed the note.

JOHN N. MILLER DEAD.

Mr. John N. Miller, of the Lothair community, died on Monday and his remains were laid to rest on Tuesday. Mr. Miller was one of the oldest citizens of Montgomery County, being about 80 years of age. He was well known in this section of the state, having held office in this county, and having a large circle of relatives and friends.

Compiler Notes: Using a 1905 Calendar and looking at the day ( Monday ) The 10 of April would have fallen on Monday. So we can say he died on Monday, April 10, 1905 and was buried the following day Tuesday, April 11, 1905. His grave has been marked wrong. Ref: this paper.
