Dear Mr. Willis,
Thank you for your note. Yes, I know the window, I attend that very same St. Matthew's Cathedral and sing in the choir there.
Yes, please, do send a scanned image of the good man! I would also appreciate a full citation so that I may ask for permission to reproduce the picture.
Thank you very much!!

Thanks for the question about Harriet. I just saw the question from you and the reply you received from Journey. I had little info on her except that she was married to Samuel and was listed in the 1850 Census with him and their first child. I however show that she had 3 children: Charles Carroll, Samuel T. Jr., and Robert Garnet. The are all listed with Samuel and Mary Ann in the 1860 and 1870 Census from Sumter County.
Your info will help me follow this line further back.
Thanks again, Sharon

Thank you for adding the photo of Mary Jane Porterfield Hickman on Findagrave. From your photo, I have now verified one of her that I have.
Do you know what happened to Mary Jane's mother, Elizabeth Ann Forbes Porterfield? She died in 1857 and I would like to know where she is buried and the cause of death.
Thank you for a reply. I will share my research.

You asked a question about Hariet A. Johnson.
In my records I show that Harriet A. Johnson married Samuel Thomas Feagin 3 Dec 1848. They had two children:
Charles Carroll Feagin (22 Feb 1850) - (14 Feb 1914)
Robert Garnett Feagin (6 Nov 1855) - (27 Oct 1871)
Harriet Johnson lived (22 Oct 1831 - 12 Nov 1857)
Samuel T. Feagin married 2nd wife Mary Ann Douglas on 22 Feb 1859.
Please let me know if you have any more questions or would like to be in touch with my relative who has been researching them.
Best wishes, Pam (Journey)

I really appreciate the photo. Did you by any chance happen to notice any other Helms in the area? According to my records, he had 9 children and they all died in Waco... Just wondering! Thanks again!
