Thank you very much for your kind message.
Messages like yours encourage me to continue, and do as many as I can.
When taking the photos, and creating the memorials, those who have lived before us are remembered, if only briefly.
Very best wishes, Steve

RE: William W. Willis
I'm sorry when I replied. I meant to thank you for the picture. I was trying to tie in everyone to have a full compliment.

I appreciate your prompt effort in taking the picture.

Email me privately if you ever want to compare notes.

RE: William W. Willis
My great-grandmother was Ida Bera Willis.
Her father was John T. Willis,
His father was James Monroe Willis.

So that's how I fit in to them.

RE: Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery
Old Town Alexandria has a similar situation. When the original churchyards could handle no more burials, each church went outside the then city limits, south of town, and purchased more land to be used for burials. That conglomerate now has about ten separate cemeteries in it! Gets very confusing for visitors!

Will do! I don't want anyone else to have the hair-pulling experience I had trying to find that church and cemetery as a Methodist Church! I will get right on it!

RE: Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery
Thank you so much! I am so glad you like the photo.

I think the next project should be to figure a way to get that cemetery to carry double name: Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Center Cemetery/Formerly Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery. I wonder if Find A Grave will accept that. Or would we have to post a second cemetery and post all the graves to that one, too?

RE: Mt. Pleasant Church, Oglethorpe County GA
Many, many thanks for this! It is now safely on my computer! I have just come back for a visit to that church building. What a wonderful experience. It was so quiet out there; nothing like Athens or the other cities we visited this year!!

Thanks again, so much for your help!
