RE: Ralph Phillip Smith
Glad we could help. I am also going to put a picture out for Calvin and Irma Smith, thinking they might be a relation also. Their site was close to Ralph's.

TB Willis, I have deleted my duplicate memorial.

As stated on her death certificate she was buried at the City Cemetery. The Waxahachie City Cemetery is most likely the one that is referenced on her death certificate.

To solve this mystery, one could request a headstone photo to confirm her burial at Prince Hall Fraternal Cemetery Waxahachie Ellis County Texas. Susie Givens Gipson # 106395355

Yes, that middle name is a mystery. I simply chose Wyre because it has the earliest documentation - from the 1878 book The Physicians and Surgeons of the US. Probably a surname from back in the family.

Thanks for the suggestion. It is done. Are you working on that family?

Re: Mary E. Brown
My pleasure Brad!

I went back and started working her memorial some more after your email and have added data from the census of 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880. And was able to locate her mother-in-law and a couple more children here in Oakwood as well. I have put in SAC's requesting they be linked.

Regards,
Mark
