Thanks to the many distant cousins and fellow "find a gravers" for helping me research my extended family. I've been working for a couple of years to identify the first 7 generations of the Johannes Hunsaker family tree. In the process, I've met many, many great relatives and greatly appreciate the unsung heroes who help document the millions of graves on Find a Grave.|
I enjoy hooking up and sharing information with any cousin - no matter how distant we are. I willingly will share my GEDCOM and other files for anyone who desires. Any pictures I have taken may be used by anyone without asking permission nor do I need credit for anything I contribute to your memorials.

Sir, I recently was give a newspaper clipping that I thought you may like (if you do not already have a copy). the caption reads
" Above are Charles O Dunn, 78, left and Orson Smith, 81, two residents of Logan, who were officiators in the Temple on the first day it opened, 50 years ago. Both are still active temple workers."
I would be glad to mail it to you if you would like it.
I am very happy to make the transfer of Bette Kellogg's memorial page to you ~ I am very thankful her memorial page will be in the care of family.
I wish you a blessed and beautiful day!

Whats a retired guy to do? I spend a lot of hours in front of a computer. When my own research hits a wall I feel like I can be helping someone else. Here is something you might want!
|Linda Simler||Lorinda Keith Anderson|
I believe Cyrus Jackson Anderson born 6 Feb 1863 Union Co IL, #27162797, should be linked to #82801311, Lorinda Keith Anderson, as a child of hers per her obit and the 1870 Census of Union Co IL.
I am married to a Simler whose 2nd great grandfather was Quincy Hunsaker. I have been putting the Hunsaker's into My Family Tree Maker Software. Thanks for all your input to Find-a-Grave as it is saving me a lot of time. Linda Simler
|snipps||RE: Restland (Henderson & Hunsaker)|
EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!! Thanks Chad for taking the time to obtain the burial locations of the Henderson's & Hunsaker's.
Just so you'll understand my schedule and how this works for me:
I have compiled my usual Restland "requests" lists, but will not be able to walk the cemetery again until school starts back up, sometime mid to late August (kiddos back in school at that time).
I have now added your Henderson's & Hunsaker's to that list, and have "flagged" them to be the FIRST that I search for.
Although it will be another 6 weeks before I can walk the cemetery, it's possible someone else may notice the plot information that you've added onto the memorials and might locate before I get the opportunity. If so, that would be great as well.
Thanks again for responding to the necessity of the plot information. Restland is enormous and would be near impossible to walk and search for without that info.

You're welcome! Happy I could help.
|Dave Davenport||WILLIAM SKAGGS - RESTHAVEN|
REMIND ME WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH THIS OPEN REQUEST. THERE IS NO RECORD OF HIM AT EITHER RESTHAVEN LOCATION.
|Mary Hunt||Re: Pearl S. Stacy|
Greenwood Mortuary could not find information on Pearl, but since the obituary states that's where she was laid I will keep an eye out for her as I take pictures of other markers in the mausoleum.
