Bio

Hi,
I was born and raised in northeast Arkansas in a town named Jonesboro. I left there in 1961 to join the US Air Force from which I retired after 22 years. My training as an aircraft mechanic allowed me to work for American Airlines. After nearly 12 years there I was laid off as part of the nation wide "middle management reduction frenzy". I then hired on as a rural route mail carrier. After 10 years of that, I pursued my current career of "rocking chair specialist", which is a work out of the home position (also known as retirement).
After a couple of years of too much food and too little action, I am now following my doctor's advice and doing some walking. I have found that a walk through a cemetery searching for an unknown headstone can be better excercise than a brisk walk of a mile in the mall.
My wife was found by me at the Jonesboro high school, so I tied her up (with a marriage license) and kept her. We have been together for nearly 47 years. She had a career of homemaker for several years, and then took on a career with Bank of America that lasted 25 years, until a spinal stroke forced her into retirement.
Even though, at this writing, we have only been involved for about 2 weeks, we find this to be a very interesting and rewarding hobby.
Even though my wife is confined to a wheelchair, she goes with me on the searches. We hope to help many find peace through just a simple picture of a grave marker of loved, but not forgotten family members and friends.
Update:
I lost my wife to all of her illnesses on November 28th 2009. She was a super person and a perfect companion, and she is missed dearly.
