 | Fortson Ancestry Charles, please forgive me for not have answered your message that you left on findagrave.com for me in 2008! I just now saw it.
I have only one Sarah Fortson in my database. This Sarah Fortson was born bet. 1802-1804 in Elbert County, Georgia to Richard Fortson and the former Lucy Tate Arnold. Her brother, Tavner Winn Fortson, is one of my great-great-great-grandfathers. This Sarah Fortson married Thomas A. Thornton. I have no data at all on Mr. Thornton and nothing more on Sarah. I have no idea if she is the same Sarah Fortson as the lady for whom you need data.
Tavner Winn Fortson and his second wife, Elizabeth D. Tate (a cousin to his first wife, Catherine D. Tate)lived in Alabama for more than 20 years before relocated to Rusk County in East Texas where they lived out their lives. Their daughter Mary Jane and her husband, George Jefferson Wilson, also relocated to Rusk County. At least three of her sisters and one brother also removed to east Texas. I have very little data on any of them other than Mary Jane whose third (of seven) daughter was my great-grandmother.
I wish that I could provide you with more information, but this is the extent of what I have.

 | Mary Emaline Mollie Robbins This is the findagrave memorial that I have found that matches the more than 7 trees at ancestry for her spouse. According to the other trees and census she was married to Robert Thomas "Bud" Woolsey. I am almost positive that the photo you had with the memorial for Robert Lee Woolsey is the exact same photo I found at ancestry for Robert T Woolsey.
Robert T Woolsey

 | Mary Emaline Mollie Robbins I have found in many trees that this is her husband Robert Thomas Bud Woolsey #53945088, but you have her connected to Robert Lee Woolsey. I do not know for sure which one is correct. Also. on her memorial page you have her date of death as Dec 29, 1930 and in the photo and what I have come across the date is listed as Nov 22, 1983. Just wondering, trying to fill in blanks on my tree. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you, Jody | | | | [View all messages...] |
