We are a Husband and Wife Team who live in Starke, Florida. We have a special hobby of visiting cemeteries and taking photos and researching our family trees. We combine this with tent camping and nature walks in State Parks. We find a cemetery that needs photos and a State Park nearby. We take photos in the morning and enjoy the park the rest of the day. We only list photos we have taken, If no memorial is listed, we create one. Our tree research is very extensive; and searching for more each day. We are researching Wise, Vickers, Weeks, Boggs, Tuggle, and many more. We will delete, correct, add to or Transfer. We ask that to request a transfer that you know of the person or be related. It's our goal to transfer any family member or person, to someone that will remember them. You may use our photos, if it has our name on the photo; it is not to be removed! We have copies of all the photos we have ever taken. If you don't get an answer quickly to your e-mail, we may be on one of our trips. We usually answer all emails within one hour of receving it.
I will not add any information from anyone who has no contact information. I must be able to verify if needed. This includes the contributers on findagrave who are afraid to list a contact, because of the way they treat other contributers.
To the ones who say we do this for the numbers, This is a hobby we enjoy doing, We take our time and commitment very serious. We answer 40-50 edit emails per day and do photo request. We also help others in their search. This is secondary to our visit to Cemeteries to take photos.
On one of our many trips to visit Cemeteries, we had an unusually strange Coincidence. We decided to write a short story about it.

Do Turtles Have Their Prayers Answered?
This is a true story as Told by:
Alton & Loudonia Wise
We retain all rights for this story.
This story starts at a little Cemetery in Bradford County Florida. There is a turtle living in this cemetery, and it is his home. The turtle's name is Bennie. He has a friend who lives in the same hole that he had dug into the ground, and her name is Bonnie. Bonnie is a snake, who shares Bennie's home. One day while finding food for himself amongst all the Cemetery Headstones, he came to a very large monument in the corner of the cemetery. He decided he could get a better view if he could climb onto it. He tried and he fell off into a hole left by a vase that had been removed. That was when his problems started! He had landed upside down into the open hole. He tried to turn over and climb out but he could not. He was stuck! He was there all day and thru the night. Bonnie went by him, and decided there was no hope for him, he was a goner! Bennie knew his time was nearly up as he lay there upside down in a hole. His only chance would be to pray, and hope he got an answer. Bennie prayed all that day and was hoping an answer to his prayer was soon to be. In another part of Bradford County just outside of Starke, Florida, lived a husband and wife team who had a hobby of taking headstone photos. They would get a request from someone on Findagrave.com for a photo, and they would drive to the cemetery, find the headstone and take a picture. They would then place the photo on Findagrave.com, for the person who had placed the request. The person usually lived some distance away and was unable to make the photo themselves. That morning they received an e-mail requesting a photo of the headstone of Mr. and Mrs. Berry Dyal in the Mount Sinai Cemetery in Bradford County, Florida. This cemetery was about 20 miles away, and they decided to go after lunch. They grabbed their photo equipment and set the GPS and headed out. It was their first visit to this cemetery. When they departed from home, they had no idea they were the chosen ones to answer a prayer for Bennie. They arrived at the cemetery, parked the car, and again grabbed their cameras and opened the gate to the cemetery. They started their search and noticed a tunnel where a turtle lived, but he was nowhere to be seen. They noticed that Bonnie was there looking out of the tunnel. She turned and headed back down. With a little more searching, the headstone of Mr. and Mrs. Dyal was located. They also noticed a turtle in front of the headstone with its legs moving, trying to turn over. It looked like Bennie had been there a few days trying to upright himself. They lifted Bennie out of the hole he was in, and placed him upright back onto the ground. They took their photos and made sure Bennie was alright. Bennie was alert now with all legs and head out and ready again to look for food. He was a happy turtle and he knew that his prayers were answered. As they drove off, Bonnie was next to Bennie and she knew that Bennie was going to make it after all. She was so thankful too!
The actual headstone Photos are located at this URL.
