Basin Harbor Cemetery
Hey Chazmanbsr,

I noticed you posted pictures of Basin Harbor Cemetery in 2010. I am planning on visiting and taking some more pictures. I was wondering how did you get there. I looked on Google Maps and it looks like it's in the middle of nowhere, but the overview picture you posted showed some houses nearby. I was wondering if you could shed some light of the exact location.

Thanks,
Tyler

wrong name for cemetery
I believe your postings are in the Old Pleasant View Cemetery not Pleasant View. The distinction would be if visitors are looking for the graves they may be looking in the wrong part of the cemetery.

William Halleck Brown
William Halleck Brown and Polly Brown of Bureau Co, IL

Hello --we looked at this family together with the will of Levi Brown and all the nieces and nephews listed. Hope you remember me. Anyways, I was looking at your Wm H. Brown information and wondered where you got the information that he and Polly had two children, Mahala Brown Page (mine) and brother, Marvin. Marvin is new to me. Thanks, Rita

Arthur Smith in Mitchell Cemetery
Hi, I had already uploaded photos for Arthur and his family when I got notice of your request. So you're all set...I also took lots of Smiths in this old cemetery. I claimed Alfred Smith and thought I had a photo but it turned out to be Arthur's...it was very cold out yesterday and my camera kept shutting down after every snapshot. If I get back out that way, I'll look again for Alfred or else I'll have to "unclaim" it. Look at the other Mitchell's and Crippens and Rasey's of this cemetery...they all seem to be intertwined! Take care, Laurie PS Maybe you know the relationship of Arthur to the Ella Dwight, Emma Moore, and Walter Bennett on his stone? Also, a Sarah Moore on the back? I figured the females were his daughters?
