Bio and Links
I have been working on my family genealogy around 12 years now. All my memorials are my family. except for 3 or 4 that are from local cemeteries. If you need to get in touch with me you can contact me through messages or the edit button. If I have a memorial and you are closer related then I am I have no problem transferring. I believe family members should be in charge of family memorials.

I have had to take off my email address because of some harassment I have had to deal with. Hopefully that has stopped but I still do not feel comfortable putting my email address back up. but if you are related to one of my ancestors and would like to share information use the edit button and then after I feel that you are not one of the people I have had trouble with I will be happy to give you my email address so we can share information.

I do not really put bios on my memorials. inless they were in the military. Then I add what service they were in if I have the correct information. I do not put living people in the obits I do decide to add unless the survivors are now deceased.

Cooks at Woodlands
The Cook plot that is behind Mary Pepper's plot are Walter S. Cook, his wife Mary Rowlett Cook and Walter's sister Julia Ella Cook Casselberry. I have uploaded photos of their graves.

RE: Sadie Donalson Roeloff
Here is Sadie's obit:

The many friends of Mrs. Henry Roeloff (nee Sadie Donaldson) were grieved to receive the sad news of her serious illness and later of her death which occurred in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mrs. Roeloff was on the way to her home in Cuba after (sic), having spent several weeks in Philadelphia visiting her husband’s relatives.

She became very ill in the train and while waiting to change cars in Jax grew rapidly worse and had to be carried to the St. Luke’s hospital. A message on Friday to her sister, Mrs. John Richardson, informed her of her sister’s serious illness and on Saturday a second message followed revealing Mrs. Roeloff’s alarming condition due to pneumonia and complications.

Mrs. Richardson left on the 10 o’clock train Saturday night, but found on reaching Jax that her sister had passed away at five o’clock Sunday morning.

The funeral will take place at 12am in Parker, Florida, where the body will be said to rest beside her parents.

Mrs. Roeloff (as will be remembered by a great many) lived in DeFuniak for several years before her marriage, and she was loved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and little one, three sisters, two brothers, and a boat of friends to mourn her death.

THE BREEZE; DeFuniak Springs, Florida; 1917-01-04; Page 1; used with permission.

Need your help locating the grave of one Sadie Donaldson who married a Henry Roeloff. Have a brief obituary from a local Walton County paper dated in Jan 1917 that details her death in Jax and her burial in Parker beside her parents. Pls let this obit be sent for your view and comments.
Thank you.

Jackson Burials in Salem Cemetery

I am trying to connect my family members back with the parents and siblings. I would be thankful for your help with this if I am not asking to much from you. With some of these I will be double related to them by the marriages.

Thank you for any help and all that you are doing.

Birthdate Change
Hi Melissa, I noticed that you had made a typo error for grave # 138268904 DeLaney Juanita Hartley Price. You have the birthdate as Oct 25, 1888 and it should be Oct 25, 1880. You can see it on the gravestone as 1880 also which is correct. I made a date change suggestion entry. Thank you for all you have done. Calvin Respess

sorry it took so long, but have met someone who showed me a different way to the cemetery. Don't know where you live but if you ever get this way would be happy to take you!

RE: Henry Watts Key
You are welcome. That is why I posted the pic in both places...I was not sure which would be deleted and was afraid that there was a chance that you would not have a pic at all. Think it goes by who posted first, but I would have to concede to a family never know

Ora E. Brown Whitford
Hi Melissa,
Do you have any more info on Ora E. Brown Whitford or the parents of Ora or Claude Whitford? Ora is an old family name in my Brown family and I am related to the Whitford family also, but maybe not to Claudes' family.
Thank you very much,
