Bio

I started out calmly, just tracing my tree,
to find, if I could, the making of me.

All that I knew was great grandpa's name,
not knowing his pa, nor from whence he came.

I chased him through villages, cities and states,
and came up with pages of odd names and dates.

When I put them together, it made me forlorn,
I'd proved that great grandpa had never been born!

I think that some rascal is pulling my leg,
with records that prove I was hatched from an egg!

Well ... let's hope it doesn't come to this!

We (Eric and Amy) are relatively new to Find-a-Grave and to genealogy, in general. Eric's family goes way back in South Carolina to the Orangeburg and Barnwell area, and before that, likely to the Craven Co., North Carolina area.

My family (Amy), as I have recently discovered, on my father's side, comes from Swiss-German roots. My mother's side goes to North Carolina, probably Duplin Co., from what we can tell right now.

Our plan is to document as many graves and memorials as possible associated with both sides of our families.

Wish us luck !!!

P.S. Feel free to contact either Eric or Amy at the email address listed or leave a message here and we will get back with you as soon as possible. We look forward to meeting you!
