That sounds good Peter. I was not trying to say you made a duplicate but I was searching around and happened upon her "other" Find A Grave. I am glad we found it because I was wondering where she was buried. Thanks again for the help

Hi there friend, I am writing this message to you regarding Dina Decker (Jacob Decker's first wife) You have a Find A Grave on her but I have found her burial place as shown in the above Find A Grave. Please let me know how to combine it with the one you have. I have requested transfer from the person in charge of it but I need to know how to combine the pages. Thank you

I have transferred the above Find A Grave to you.
I have a question....I found my great uncle George Decker that was never put on the family with his brother my grandfather John (Jan) Decker. Can you please look into his life and see if you can locate information regarding him? I am not sure why I never transferred his Find A Grave to you unless there was no information located regarding him. If you locate any information please let me know and I will gladly transfer his Find A Grave to you for the input.

I was able to transfer the above Find A Grave to you to have the information added that you are able to locate on my Great Aunt. Please do so and return the Find A Grave to me. I am very appreciative of the help you have given me.
You still have not asked me to help you. What am I able to do? Please advise

I'm wondering if you are related to the Schwanekamp Family. My great grandfather was John Herman Schwanekamp, son of John (Johann) Schwanekamp and and Johanna ? , born 1846 on the Atlantic Ocean while the family was on its way to the U.S.. I see you have some Schwanekamps in your memeorials. I'm just trying to verify John Herman's parents and grandparents names and how can I be sure?

I found a Claus Decker today, however the dates/spouse/etc do not match those of the one you requested, and I was surprised as the one I found is not listed in the online cemetery listing. Not sure if this Claus or his relatives that I documented fit into your line or not, but I will keep looking for the "real" Claus.

|SLUKES||Gertrude (DECKER) Temple|
Hello my Friend.....It is me again. I was wondering if you were able to find out any information on Gertrude Decker (my grandfatherís youngest sister). John Decker is my grandfather. Gertrude was born in the Netherlands also on August 25, 1907. She married Jacob Hitta Temple. Gertrude passed on July 28, 1988 in Fulton, Illinois (Whiteside County).
I have been struggling with Ancestry and Find A Grave but I really am trying to get back into the saddle, as they say.
How was your Christmas? I am sorry that I havenít been in touch but I am glad that I found my way back
Be hearing from you soon I hope.

From the FAQs
What is Find A Grave?
Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.
Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.
How do I add a memorial when I'm not sure what cemetery they are buried?
..........Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days.
Notice the purpose of Find a Grave is to record final disposition (ie gravesite) not to record a death. Are there burial unknowns entered- yes, many. Do they fufill the purpose? No. My experience is that when the grave IS found and a cemetery search is done before creating a memorial, a previously entered burial unknown (and its links) will not be found. Eventually, someone will discover both memorials and report them to edit. Edit will automatically delete the burial unknown (and its links) in favor of the known burial even if it is newer. No notification will be sent to the memorial manager. Links and information will be lost.
Sorry for such a long response. I hope I have not offended you, I do appreciate the information you sent and have included it in the bio section of the memorial. When you do locate the cemetery, please let me know and I will gladly add
the links. Best wishes from a very cold and snowy Michigan, Judi

|William Kazupski||RE Mt Greenwood|
Mt Greenwood does not have a computerized kiosk to look up burials. Each burial has to be manually looked up by the office clerk. So I am awaiting on the office to supply me the locations of the burials where photos have been requested.

I have transferred Albert to you. I did not create the memorial for his wife, so you will need to ask the person who created it for the transfer.

|Diann House||Cornelius Van Stright|
I am the great granddaughter of Cornelius Van Stright, living in Houston TX right now. I was relooking at Jennie Schoon (Jane Van Stright)in my Ancestry.com tree and found you were maintaining her Find a Grave. I would love it if you had more info concerning Cornelius and his wife Gertie Zyp regarding birth and parents and immigration records. My cousin has traced his birth back to Maastricht. He settled in Highland, IN. They had 9 children of whom my grandfather Gilbert was one. I was just on a river cruise through Germany & the Netherlands which has rekindled my desire to know more about my family.

I don't have any Dutch relatives that I know about, I think those wooden shoes would be very uncomfortable!

I have transferred them all to you. No, I have never been out of the USA, and I've probably been to about 16 or 17 states in this country. My sister lives in South Carolina, it's about 800 miles from where I live in Indiana and I go there sometimes, but that's about as far as I go. Take care and let me know when you need transfers, I'm always glad to help.
