I am interested in Peterson (Pietersen), Miedema, Boslooper, Vanden Bout, Brashler (Braschler), Van Dreal (Van Driel), Barlow (Barlo), and Nydam (Nijdam) surnames and their connected families, as well as Dutch connections around Western Michigan and the Chicago area.

In addition to my own family history, since 2019 I have have been researching the stories of early residents of Pilgrim Place, Claremont, CA who are buried in Oak Park Cemetery in Claremont. These amazing individuals spent their lives working all over the world, and then retired to this small community of religious and humanitarian workers located on the West Coast. I hope to preserve their stories and enable their decendants to include them in their own family histories.
