John Slayton
Hello Clinton,

My name is Sadie Slayton, my father is Richard Foster Slayton, he was the oldest son of Virginia Limeberry and John Slayton. I have traced some of the Slayton family history on Ancestry.com. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have, if I can.

Pauline and I are second cousins. Her mom and my grandma were sisters. No males in direct line. Were the Slatons Native American? I see the Slaton name in the North East Alabama Cherokee tribe. I'm looking for Isaac Childress' mother and father. Not much luck on that. Glad to find a cousin.

Thanks, again for the transfers. I just wanted to tell you thanks for giving us the benefit of the doubt and adding our interpretation to the bio. However, after looking at both the books that I have and seeing that it had been read differently, we think our interpretation may be wrong. So, unless we find some reason to change it, it will remain as you had it.

Thanks again,
Donna

Thank you Clayton for the transfer, it was extremely kind of you. I also wanted to thank you on a previous photo request you fulfilled, you included the family monument which I did not know existed and was very kind that you took the time to add it to the linked memorials of the family members buried with them.

Willie & Lee Campbell
Thank you so much for the photos of the gravestones for Willie C Campbell and her husband, Lee. I so appreciate your time and effort. You have no idea how long I have been searching for them.

Bravo, Clayton.
I totally agree with your philosophy. I cringe every time a "contributor" says, "don't ask for transfer; I am too busy "collecting" more names and you people with more info are immaterial".
Thank you so much for the stone pictures for my double 2g aunt Eliza Ann Stewart Kennedy( 15212578) in Elmwood Cem, Birmingham AL. Never thought I would find her.

I am so thrilled that you posted photographs of all of these family grave sites...and created new ones that I had no idea were buried in Elmwood! I know how difficult it is in a cemetery of this enormous size to even begin to locate a grave site...and you have captured every one!! I now have complete records on these branches of our family...thanks to all of your gracious efforts! Your photographs are just fabulous! It's wonderful that you are giving so many families not only a glimpse at history, but also many records for future researchers! You're just the best! Nancy Fleetwood Miller
