Bio

The majority of my maternal ancestors can be found in northern Alabama and parts of Georgia. Most if not all of my paternal ancestors are buried overseas, so it is not likely that I'll ever be able to visit them. It's quite probable that those cemeteries have been destroyed.

I prefer to preserve.

I will always show my appreciation for members who fulfill my photo requests. I know firsthand that this is an arduous task. I have infinitely more respect for the people who actually walk the cemeteries. I will never be the kind of person that creates numerous memorials from online obituaries without visiting a grave. I don't see any honor in that. This is not a competition for me. I help others whenever possible, and that is where most of my satisfaction comes from.
