Unknown Evans: In my records, I have Thomas Harold Evan, b. 30 May 1797, had sons Josiah Evans #38834416 (and wife Caroline Fluellen Evans #44895202), & son Seth Thomas Evans # 38834660. In my written records I have a record of another son JOHN, b. 23 Dec 1833 (married a Louisa Baker) Could this be the Unknown Evans #13224653 who 1869? The memorials are all in Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Cem. All of these Evans are in the same Cem. Are they all buried in the same area?
Thanks, for all the work that you do. You are certainly appreciated for all the time you give to the researchers. I began family research in the 1960's before home computers. It was fun to be out in cemeteries with tablet & pencil, recording those tomb stones in the warm Texas sun. We always made a party of it. Take care.

Can I use your pictures?
Hi! I am related to the Estes, and was wondering if you'd mind if I used the picture of Sarah Estes you put on Find A Grave?

McGough Clan
Hello Vicki,
I just joined "Find a Grave" today. I discovered the McGough picture that you posted on your contributor page. Thank you for your generosity in sharing the photo of The Robert McGough Family, Circa 1908. It is priceless.
In addition, I believe that your maternal Great Grandfather, John Thomas McGough is a brother to my Great Grandfather, Manual A. McGough, b. April 1859, d. May 20, 1920.
Is it possible for you to tell me the names of the people in this photo? I believe that my Great Grandfather would have been around 49 in 1908.
You may respond here or my email address:

Gratefully Yours,

Pat Gordon

Photo of Robert McGough's Decendants
Hi Vikki,

My name is Sherry Golightly. I just began tracing my ancestry and my mother's grandfather (my great grandfather) was Ruben Archer McGough. I have no photos of my McGough ancestors and I was wondering if my great-grandfather might be one of those pictured in that photo, or if you might have other photos you'd be willing to share and explain.

I will be eternally grateful for any information that you may wish to share.

John McGough
I have a picture for John's grave marker placed by the DAR. I also have his wife Elizabeth's birth information that can be added to findagrave. I will try to get that to you tonight from my home computer. Are you related to the McGoughs?

Thank you for remembering these dear souls that might otherwise be forgotten.
I bookmarked your virtual grave posting so I would have a chance to visit more often.

Thank you for your visits to my dear husband Jim's page.
