Minnie Smith Clement
Funeral services were held at the Coombs Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday withthe Rev. Ted Smith officiating for Minnie Smith Clement 89 of Belfast who died September 20 at a local hospital. She was born May 22, 1891 in Augusta, daughter of Antone and Rosa Phillips.
She was a cook for 28 years at Whitcomb's Restaurant, Belfast. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belfast.
She is survived by her husband Erville Clement of Belfast, one brother John Phillips of New Hampshire; two sisters Lizzie Westover of Belmont, Lena Smith of Searsmont; many nieces and nephews.
Internment was in the Grove Cemetery Belfast.
